ABOUT
UQHOME
UQHOME is an online platform that aims to tackle a declining sense of belonging that is associated with studying from home. During tumultuous and uncertain times caused by the coronavirus pandemic, we need to unite as a UQ community and support those affected the most. UQHOME will provide a networking service for those studying externally at the University of Queensland, to assist them in feeling connected and involved with other UQ students. The platform will enable students to be matched with others who share similar degrees and or personal interests. Following the matching process, you will have access to a chat and video function that allows them to formulate worthwhile personal connections with others. The service aims to assist external students in feeling connected to UQ, despite being geographically separated.
